Earlier, former MLA Sabrinathan had also come forward praising the film. He had also said that he hoped that this small film would even be in the consideration list of films from India going for Oscars. The film has been getting a good response from the audience till date. Film critics point out that the strong screenplay and Tarun Murthy’s directorial skills are the reasons why the film has gained so much popularity.
Devi Varma who played the lead character Ayesha Rauthar in the film also received great critical acclaim. Another noteworthy feature of the film is the excellent casting that suits the characters. The film also featured Lukman, Binu Pappu, Siddharth Siva, Sujith Shankar, Gokulan, Rhea Saira, Ananya, Dhanya etc. in lead roles.
The film is produced by Sandeep Sen under the banner of Urvashi Theatres. Sandeep Senan had earlier produced films like Thondimuthal and Driksakshi, Satyam Phamna Vaveruvo etc. The cinematography of the film is by Sharan Velai and the editing is by Nishad Yusuf. Anwar Ali and Jopol’s lyrics were composed by Francis. Harindran is the co-producer of the film.
