Thiruvananthapuram: The government has clarified that quarantine does not apply to visitors from abroad for up to seven days. You can stay at home or in a hotel. Kovid guidelines must be strictly followed. Must return within seven days. Minister Veena George told a news conference that if Kovid is infected, he should inform the health center and seek treatment.

The minister said the Kovid spread was declining. The number of cases increased by 45 per cent in the first week of January, 148 per cent in the second week and 215 per cent in the third week. It was down 71 percent in the fourth week and 16 percent last week. About 57% of ICU beds are vacant. About 84 per cent of the ventilators are vacant, he said.

Not everyone who arrives at the hospital needs a test

Strict action if treatment is denied despite convenience.

 Dialysis should not be discontinued even if patients in a private hospital suffer from Kovid.
