In one of the most suggestive places in Tuscany, on the terrace of the former Guzman powder magazine, the seventh edition of kicks off Orbetello Jazz Festival, one of the most anticipated events of the summer organized by the‘Alexanderplatz in collaboration with the Municipality of Orbetello, which will take place from 6th to 8th September.
Raising the curtain on a weekend full of great music, comes one of the most acclaimed international stars: il September 6ththe timeless elegance of will be the protagonist Noah.
Achinoam Nini vero nome di Noawhat does it mean “bringer of peace”, was born in Tel Aviv to parents of Yemeni origin and grew up between Israel and the United States.
Winner of numerous awards and recognitions and famous interpreter of the soundtrack of “Life is beautiful,” the artist is involved in numerous social initiatives, carried out with Gil Dor, musician and inseparable collaborator, together with whom in 2022 he created the foundation l‘The Statue of Noah.
Singer-songwriter, poet, composer and percussionistNoa brings to Orbetello her extraordinary ability to mix genres and languages, going beyond the boundaries of every musical genre and involving the audience in a whirlwind of emotions. (Entrance fee 20 euros).
On the afternoon of Saturday 7th September the music will move to the two main squares of the historic center of Orbetello, Hero of the Two Worlds Square and Plebiscito Square, where the young artists of the will perform, starting at 7pmAcademy The Voice of Grosseto, a “tasty” prologue in view of the evening concert: with the “Unplugged afternoon” the entire historic center will be immersed in a real celebration of music.
At 9.00 pm on September 7th, music returns to the shore of the Lagoon, on the Terrace of the former Guzman powder magazine which will be surrounded by the sounds of Soul and R’n’B music thanks to Fulvio Tomaino and his Soul Band (Entrance fee 10 euros).
Fulvio Tomaino, recognized as one of the most talented black music singers in Europewho has over 2300 concerts under his belt and countless collaborations with the greatest artists in the world, will take to the stage of theOrbetello Jazz Festival to celebrate his first thirty-five years of musical career with a concert that will explore the most classic soul and R’n’B musical atmospheres of the 60s, 70s and 80s, rediscovering the repertoires of some absolute protagonists of the world music scene (from Stevie Wonder a Marvin Gaye, da John Cleary a Hall & Oates and many others).
Special guest of the evening the trumpeter Flavio Boltro, one of the most appreciated jazz musicians on the international scene, who has collaborated with icons such as Michel Petrucciani and Billy Cobham.
The grand finale of the event will also be a celebrationOrbetello Jazz Festival scheduled for Sunday 8th September when, at 9pm in Piazza Eroe dei due mondi, he will perform Blues & The City con “Blues Party & Big Mama Jam Session”a completely free show dedicated to rhythm.
