Nobel laureate in chemistry professor Dan Shechtman, lashed out at the ultra-orthodox public and said that he is scared to death of them and that they are “milking the State of Israel”.
At a cultural event in Be’er Sheva, Shechtman was asked what the biggest challenge for the State of Israel was, and he said: “Demography. The State of Israel is going in a bad direction.
