Munro is taken into account one of many best quick story writers in world literature, and for years she was thought of the favourite to win the Nobel Prize.

Alice Munro was born in 1931 in Wingham, Ontario. She started her first assortment of quick tales, Dance of Completely happy Shades, in 1968, and in 2009 she was awarded the Man Booker Worldwide Prize.
Munro studied on the College of Western Ontario. Collectively together with her first husband, she opened the well-known bookstore Munro’s Books in 1963 within the metropolis of Victoria.
Her books have been translated into 13 languages. In 1998, “A very good lady’s love” was chosen as the perfect guide by all eight editors within the prestigious journal The New York Occasions E-book Overview.
