The assemblywoman of the Citizen Revolution, Paola Cabezas, criticized this Wednesday the management of the President of the Republic, Daniel Noboa, and accused him of focusing more on doing activities for TikTok and confronting the National Assembly, than on addressing the economic and social problems of the country.
He mentioned that, initially, they were lenient with Noboa’s legislative proposals, but after seven months, these measures have had no effect.
In his opinion, the national leader is obeying “pressure from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and not a strategic plan of the country and the Government.”

For Cabezas, Noboa has changed his initial stance and is now adopting a more confrontational attitude, especially against Correaism, as part of a pre-campaign strategy.
Regarding speculation that Noboa is mentally incapable of holding office, he clarified that this has not been formally raised and dismissed the idea, stating that it is part of a strategy to spread lies.
In legislative terms, he mentioned that they are working on reforms to the popular consultation in accordance with what was approved by Ecuadorians in the corresponding referendum.
