Russia’s war on Ukraine, an Eastern European country, has been going on for more than two months. All European countries have expressed support for Ukraine. During a number of UN resolutions, India abstained.

In this context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to Germany, Denmark and France. On the first day yesterday, he left for Germany and was given a special welcome at the airport.

Following this, he met with German Chancellor Olf Schaalz. There Modi was honored with a military parade.

The two met alone. Modi has met Scholes, who took over as Prime Minister last year, for the first time.
Following this, the two leaders met with ministers and officials to discuss bilateral relations, including international issues.

In this, various agreements were signed. Germany has offered to lend 76 billion rupees to India to switch to Masilla power generation by 2030. After these meetings, the two leaders held a joint interview. Then, Modi said:

The visit is aimed at further strengthening the relationship between India and Germany.

No one is going to win the war between Ukraine and Russia. With this problem, everyone will face severe vulnerabilities. That is why India stands on the side of peace.

Even before the war began, we continued to insist on a negotiated settlement. We continue to protest against human rights abuses in Ukraine.

As a result of this war, the price of crude oil has risen sharply. There is a shortage of food, fertilizers and everything. It has affected every family in the world. Developing and poor countries are the worst affected.

Thus he said.
