Intel is pending a socket change for the Meteor Lake S and Arrow Lake S, its chiplet-based desktop processors. Physically it will be the same as the LGA 1700, but it will add more communication pins with the processor so it will be the LGA 1851 socket. This has not yet been made official as it is being confirmed unofficially, especially since Noctua indicates on the ca of its NH-U12A cooling that is compatible with Intel’s LGA 1851
Physically both sockets measure 45 mm × 37.5 mm and it is to be imagined that the height will be the same for that compatibility. But I don’t know how the rumors are now, but it was said that there was not going to be a desktop Meteor Lake, but that we would have to wait for Arrow Lake at the end of next year for the LGA 1851 socket.
