Noel improves the recipe for his delicatessen range ‘Delizias’ which has grown by 20% in sales over the last year

The meat company Noelbased in Sant Joan les Fontsin la Garrotxa, has decided to relaunch its charcuterie rangeDelights‘ incorporating improvements to recipes of some of the references, in addition to changing the image and the design of the packaging The objective: to unite the group’s charcuterie tradition with the new needs and trends of consumption. Precisely, the range has recorded an increase of more than 20% in sales volume during the last financial year and is one of the main growth engines of its meat products division.

Among all the improvements incorporated in the recipes, theincrease in the percentage of meat of the ‘Delizias’ chicken breast, which goes from 85% to 92%, which gives it a better flavour, aroma and texture; increasing the Nutritional value with the corresponding increase in protein percentageas well as being free of gluten, lactose i starches.

In the same vein, the ‘Delizias’ Gran Reserva Salted Ham is consolidated as one of the references with the greatest added value in the range, as it is one of the only ones on the market that is made exclusively with ham and Mediterranean salt. This implies that during its production and curing process neither is added to it nitritesis nitratesnor any other additive, resulting in a completely natural product. In addition, it now contains 50% Duroc pork, which gives it a better texture and flavor; and has the Welfare certificate in animal welfare from AENOR.

“The relaunch of Delizias has been considered with the aim of contributing more value in the range and to manage to bring it to even more homes,” says Noel’s corporate marketing director, Maria Sánchez.

The ‘Delizias’ range is sold in the points of sale of the main self-service chains in Spain and is made up of six references of ‘Delizias Al Corte’ (cooked ham, roast shoulder, turkey breast and chicken breast cooked, salted ham and cured loin), presenting the freshest cut to maintain the flavor, aroma and texture of the freshly cut sausage; and thirteen references to ‘Delizias Pétalos’ (cooked ham, cooked Iberian ham, cooked ham with truffle, turkey breast, chicken breast with fine herbs, Iberian fennel shoulder, salted ham, cured loin, Iberian loin , chorizo, Iberian sausage, sausage and Iberian sausage), in the form of delicate shavings freshly cut and placed by hand.

The proposal also revolves around the concept ‘every slice matters’ in order to highlight both the product and everything behind it. In this sense, the packaging of the entire range is composed of 70% of recycled plastic and, in addition, the amount of this has been reduced, which will mean a total reduction of around 43,000 kg of this material per year, a fact that is fully aligned with the sustainability strategy it is carrying out complete the company.
