The Nokia G60 was unveiled last month and now seems to be making its way to the Indian market. The news was shared by Nokia’s Twitter account in India. As you can expect from the current Nokia, it is mostly a low-cost smartphone at an attractive price. However, the Indian pricing and availability details are yet to be published.

Before the launch, the smartphone is already on the official Nokia website in India. Apparently, it will be available in a single memory configuration – 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. However, it will be available in two colors – black and ice. s
The Nokia G60 specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. This is the most attractive point of this phone because the chipset is relatively good and it offers 5G connectivity. The phone also has a 6.58-inch LCD screen with Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone brings a pixelated design for selfies – it’s an 8-megapixel shooter. Moving to the back, there is a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera. The other two snappers are 5MP and a 2MP depth assistant.
The Nokia G60 also offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a micro SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone runs Android 12, but Nokia promises three upgrades to the Android version. So it is eligible for Android 13 and my future Android upgrades. There will also be three years of monthly security patches.
Nokia G60 was launched alongside Nokia X30. However, it is not clear if this particular variant will also reach the Indian market along with the Nokia G60. We expect the company to reveal more details in the near future.
Nokia has abandoned the idea of competing with the big companies with smartphones of all classes. The company’s rumored flagship never saw the light of day. Instead, he was focusing on budget phones and getting good results from them. Meanwhile, the company is establishing a strong presence in the 5G network segment.
