After the reissue of the 3310 model in 2017, its big brother, the 3210, will also be put back on the market in a more modern version.
Nokia is doing something new with something old to win over the most nostalgic consumers. The Finnish telephone brand will indeed reissue its 3210 model, almost 25 years after its appearance on the market.
This device, very fashionable when it was released in 1999, had sold nearly 160 million copies. HMD, the Finnish telecommunications company which manufactures Nokia phones, announced the news on its X account this Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
The specialized site Nokiamob explains that the Nokia 3210 could go on sale on May 15 and the legendary game Snake should also make a comeback. The model will be available in three colors: yellow, gray and blue. The price displayed should be 79.90 euros.
Multiple features
The phone will be equipped with a 2 MP camera with flash, a battery that lasts several days, a flashlight and 4G allowing high quality calls.
The reissue of this model from the past goes in the direction of the “dumphone” trend, a practice which consists of owning a phone only used for making calls, a far cry from the new generation smartphones currently sold on the market.
