Non-repayable grant: how to apply and get the bonus

Starting from March 30th, it is possible to apply for the non-repayable contributions provided for by the Sostegni decree. A small breath of fresh air for the activities bent by the post Covid crisis which, according to government estimates, will concern about 3 million companies and VAT numbers, which will receive non-repayable compensation (or, alternatively, upon request, a credit from equivalent tax) for about 3,700 euros on average per person: it ranges from a minimum of one thousand euros to a maximum of 150 thousand. Beneficiaries can send applications to the Revenue Agency through the Agency’s electronic channels or through the web platform developed by Sogei starting from late morning and until May 28th. Automatic disbursement is not foreseen, therefore potential beneficiaries are obliged to follow the procedure and submit the application. The same Agency, led by Ernesto Maria Ruffini, has undertaken to pay the contribution within two weeks of the application, by transferring directly to the current account indicated by the applicant.
