Palakkad: A non-state laborer was found dead in a bush. The non-state laborer was found dead in the bushes near Pattambi railway station. From the documents on the body, the deceased was identified as Uttam Prathan, a native of Odisha. It was noticed this morning that a person was lying in Kuttikkat. He was later found to be dead.

Then Pattambi police reached the spot as informed by local residents. The police took further steps and shifted the body to Pattambi Taluk Hospital Mortuary. At the same time, it has not been confirmed how he died. There is no confirmation yet as to how he got to the bush.

Meanwhile, Asianet News had reported the news of friends who had to wait for six days in front of Ernakulam General Hospital mortuary due to lack of money to bring the body of their friend who died at the end of last month. He worked in cardamom cultivation for a month in Idukki, but the employer did not pay him for his work. Ashok Kumar, a native of Jharkhand, collapsed and died when he reached Kochi to return home. Following this, friends kept Ashok’s dead body in front of the mortuary for six days. After Asianet News gave the news, the process of bringing Ashok’s body to the country started.
