The Krasnodar Territory has decided not to introduce additional days off, the days from October 30 to November 7 will be non-working in the region, said the governor of the Territory Veniamin Kondratyev on October 21.

“In the Krasnodar Territory, non-working days will be from October 30 to November 7. Taking into account the specifics of our resort region, we understand that the number of people wishing to come to Kuban during this period may be a record, ”he said.

In addition, QR codes will be introduced in the Kuban to allow spectators and participants to attend public events and to visit catering establishments. The measures are introduced from October 25 to November 7. The decision was made at a meeting of the operational headquarters for the fight against infection, he said.

Earlier that day, Rospotrebnadzor recommended that during non-working days, if possible, stay at home and not plan a trip. In addition, the department added that non-working days can have a positive effect on the epidemiological situation with coronavirus, subject to the condition of limiting social contacts, including refusal to visit and receive guests, as well as long-term communication in closed rooms.

A day earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing non-working days with the preservation of wages in the country for the period from October 30 to November 7. Regions can enter a holiday period until October 30 and extend it after November 7.

A large-scale vaccination has been taking place in Russia since January. Citizens are vaccinated free of charge and voluntarily.
