The body of former Australian star and legend Shane Warne, who recently died of a heart attack, has been cremated in Melbourne in honor of the Australian government. His sudden departure from this world at the age of just 52 came as a huge shock to everyone, including cricket fans and former players.
Considered the leader of spin bowling, he is proud to have overwhelmed many world class batsmen including Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara with his magical spin bowling. Former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson has been signed as the new captain of the Delhi Capitals this year, just days before the start of the IPL 2022 series. Currently with the Delhi team, he is open-minded about his recently deceased friend and legend Shane Warne.
Here is what he talked about. “A few aspects of playing for Rajasthan in the first IPL series still stand out to me. Rajasthan was the team that did not have such big stars especially as there were huge star players in other teams. However, as a team, they were able to win together in a short period of time. Shane Warne, in particular, understood what talent the players had on the team and led the team accordingly.

For me Shane Warne was a head-to-head captain who put together the talent that a player has and brings out the best in him. He relied on the skill of the players and hoped that they would fit into this job in this space. That is why Rajasthan did well in the first series. ”
Massive Shane Warne:
According to him, 2008 was full of star players in other teams like Mumbai and Kolkata. But the Rajasthan team was full of inexperienced youngsters like Yusuf Pathan and Ravindra Jadeja, with the exception of a few star players like Shane Watson.

But Shane Warne, who knew their talent and guided the Rajasthan team to a better understanding of where to use them and won the championship, truly praised Shane Watson who played for the Rajasthan team in that series as a quality captain.
