VIENNA (Nettavisen): Norway is ready for the EM semifinals after another dominant victory, this time against Germany.
There was really never a match in the Wiener Stadthalle, where the Norwegian girls burst out of the starting blocks.
A lead of six goals was quickly established in the first half, which thay managed to maintain throughout the game.
– I was a bit surprised as it didn’t look like she was going to shoot hard.I didn’t quite understand, but when I turned around there was no one in goal. I think she regretted it as she released the ball, which I can understand, says Maren Aardahl to Nettavisen.

– You never stop being shocked
With only a few minutes left, Katrine Lunde called for the referees to wipe the floor after a duel.
The referees approved the wiping but chose at the same time to start the play, allowing the Germans to score in the open goal.
– But for heaven’s sake? Now you really have to pay attention here. They’re all reacting. Did the referees start this?, raged Viaplay’s Daniel Høglund.
And continued:
– The referees can’t just start this when Lunde is wiping. it’s incredibly poor. You never stop being shocked by what you witness.

Norway’s national team captain Henny Reistad was not pleased with the Germans’ actions.
– I don’t think we woudl have done the same. It’s not responsible to play when it’s wet, something everyone knows. we can’t say for sure what the German saw, but at least she sees that Katrine is not in goal.
– What do you say to her afterward then?
– I felt we made it clear that it wasn’t the most sportsmanlike thing to do, she concluded to Nettavisen.
Reistad dominated
Henny Reistad has had matches with less impressive scoring throughout the tournament, but against the Germans, the Esbjerg player was merciless.
She ended with nine goals and dominated large parts of the match.

NRK expert Kenneth Gabrielsen believes it’s easy to forget how much responsibility rests on the 25-year-old.
– We also have to be aware that she has a completely different role in this national team than she has had before. she is supposed to control the game, something she has had good assistance with in the past. Now she has a completely different role, and I think she has grown in that task. There is no doubt that she is a complete handball player.
German coach fumed
After half a period, the handball girls lead by a full six goals and were completely superior.

It ended with a lead of six goals at halftime.
