Rome, March 8. (time.news) – The Protocol was signed in Verona, during the LetExpo2023 fair, which provides for the establishment of an interregional technical table for a shared definition of the articulations of the North-East logistics platform, with particular attention to the functions of the ports (Ravenna, Trieste and Venice), interports (Bologna, Verona, Padua, Milan, Udine, etc.) of the airport system (Milan, Bologna, Verona, Treviso, Venice, etc.), the infrastructure system (Rfi, Terminalitalia, Autostrade, Anas, Navigation System Interna), the road-rail-water modal interchange and the territorial planning of settlements destined for logistics.

“It is a work of coordination and synergy aimed at bringing together those entities, those associations, those companies that work in this huge territory, one of the most productive in Europe, on logistics issues – specifies Marco d’Elia, director of Infrastructures and Transport Veneto Region – The result of this coordination will also produce results from the point of view of numbers, proposals and initiatives that will be presented annually in what will be defined as the States General of North-East logistics”.

Present at the signing of the Protocol, in addition to the president of the Veneto Region Zaia, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini, the president of Emilia-Romagna Stefano Bonaccini, the president of Friuli Venezia Giulia Massimiliano Fedriga, the vice president of the Province of Bolzano Daniel Alfreider and the president of the Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti.
