GOMA – The city of Goma, capital of North Kivu, continues to record multiple cases of assassinations. It’s almost every week that people are killed in almost every neighborhood of the city.
The recent case is the shooting last night from Tuesday to Wednesday January 10, 2024 of a woman in the city of Goma, capital of the provincial institutions of North Kivu.
The first information reaching CongoForum this Wednesday reveals that this case occurred in the Amani cell in the Majengo district, near Goma international airport, in the northern part of the commune of Karisimbi.
The youth of the neighborhood say they are in the process of collecting information on the true circumstances of this assassination which is added to more than 4 others reported since the start of 2024.
Last Monday, a money changer who was shot dead in Ndosho, just 48 hours after the shooting of a young prepaid credit reseller in Kyeshero district.
The population, in great desolation, no longer knows what to do following this situation of permanent insecurity.
