‘Swan of Death’ US strategic bomber B-1B

This missile, which was unveiled to the public for the first time, is the ‘Hyunmoo-5’, which has a warhead weighing 8 tons. It will be mass-produced starting this year and has a maximum range of 300 km. It is known that the actual explosion power is equivalent to the explosion of an 11-ton warhead through improvements in warhead materials. It is as powerful as a tactical nuclear weapon.

At the event, the core power of the Korean Missile Defense System (KAMD), such as the ‘Korean version of THAAD’ long-range surface-to-air missile (L-SAM), which will be developed at the end of this year, and the Korean supersonic fighter KF-21, which entered mass production in July of this year, a preemptive strike against North Korea (Kill) The core forces that will make up the chain were also revealed.
The military also introduced a domestically produced ‘laser’ anti-aircraft weapon that is being developed to shoot down unmanned aerial vehicles. This weapon is scheduled to be deployed within the year, and if a laser weapon for shooting down unmanned aerial vehicles is deployed, it will be the first in the world.
The US military’s strategic bomber B-1B, known as the ‘Swan of Death’, also appeared escorted by our Air Force fighter F-15K. The B-1B is a representative extended deterrence strategic asset with a conventional weapons capacity of 57 tons. This is the first time that a U.S. strategic bomber has appeared at an Armed Forces Day event.
The military reported that more than 5,000 troops participated in the commemoration ceremony and march through downtown Seoul, and about 340 pieces of 83 types of equipment were mobilized.
