The North Korean regime blows up the roads that connect with its southern neighbor; according to intelligence from the South Korean Army.

The South Korean military on Tuesday released a new video of North Korea blowing up two roads and railways that used to connect the two Koreas.

These are the Gyeongui and Donghae highways, which are very close to the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that divides both countries.

According to a statement from South Korean forces, around noon some parts of the roads connecting both nations were destroyed. The news was announced with a message from the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff to the media.

Although the destroyed railway lines and roads were already in use, the message that Pyongyang sends to its southern neighbor is quite clear; intends to cut all diplomatic relations with said country, causing greater tensions in the region.

Days ago, North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un had warned that he would cut and fortify the roads and train tracks that connect with the south and, according to experts, it is believed that this marked an end to relations with South Korea.

Recently, tensions on the Asian continent have been increasing in a worrying manner; On the one hand, China threatens Taiwan with military maneuvers near its territory, while North Korea tries to develop its nuclear arsenal and threatens its southern neighbor with war if it attacks first.
