KCNA said that based on the samples, the nature of the symptoms and the information obtained from the infection detection, the health workers concluded that the fever that some of the people are experiencing is due to influenza. It is also said that the patient’s body temperature is now normal.

North Korean authorities have lifted the curfew, but people have been asked to remain vigilant by continuing to wear face masks and immediately report to health officials if they experience flu symptoms.
While Kim has said that North Korea’s victory over the virus will be recognized as a global health miracle, experts believe that North Korea is hiding the true state of the infection, hoping the world will believe it has complete control. After acknowledging the spread of the coronavirus in May, North Korea reported that about 4.8 million people had the flu, out of a population of about 26 million who had not been vaccinated. However, only a fraction of these people were diagnosed with Covid-19. The country’s official death toll is 74. Experts say this is an unusually low number. Experts believe that the death toll is very low as public health facilities are very poor in the country.
North Korea has blamed South Korea for the spread of Covid-19 in their country. North Korea has warned that it will be retaliated. South Korea has accused the country of bringing the coronavirus to North Korea with anti-Pyongyang propaganda leaflets and other materials flown over the border by balloons launched by South Korea.
