Time.news – North Korea has tested two short-range missiles. It is the first launch since taking office in the White House Joe Biden.
The launch, an American source explained, took place on Sunday, shortly after a visit to South Korea by the US Secretary of State, Antony Blink, and the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin. Several experts believe that these are two ‘cruise’ missiles, which travel a guided trajectory.
According to the same experts, it would be a “relatively moderate response” to the joint military maneuvers that have just carried out Washington and Seoul.
In February, the Biden administration tried to make contact with Pyongyang, but the attempt was unsuccessful. Washington is therefore fine-tuning a strategy towards the country led by Kim Jong Un.
North Korea warned last week that it will not change its mind about the US until it gives up its “hostile policy” towards it.
