Military equipment in 7000 containers

South Korea’s Defense Department has announced shocking information that military equipment including military weapons, vehicles, explosives and various missiles have been sent from North Korea to Russia so far.

Russia invaded the country in February 2022 to oppose Ukraine’s accession to NATO.

The war continues even after the last two years. Meanwhile, 16 people were killed and 53 injured in a missile attack by Russia in the city of Odesa, located in the southern part of Ukraine.

This attack, which was carried out during the presidential election in Russia, is said to be the worst attack that Russia has carried out on Ukraine in recent times.

Some countries including North Korea and Belarus are supporting Russia in the war against Ukraine.

In this situation, South Korea’s Defense Department has announced that military equipment including military weapons, vehicles, explosives and various missiles have been sent from North Korea to Russia in around 7,000 containers.

South Korea has accused Russia of speeding up arms deliveries after Russian President Putin and North Korean President Kim Jong Un met in person in September last year.

Weapons are said to have been transferred from North Korea not only by sea but also by train.

On the other hand, South Korea suspects that various equipment are being sent from Russia to North Korea in containers, and most of the containers are fuel for North Korea.

However, both sides have denied reports of arms transfer from North Korea to Russia.

Following Russia’s series of attacks on Ukraine, North Korea has also been conducting more tests of its military weapons and missiles.
