North Korea-launched ballistic missile lands in East Sea of Japan
Japan’s Ministry of Defense is of the opinion that the AV may have multiple missiles.
South Korea accused North Korea of firing an unidentified ballistic missile into the East Sea on Thursday.
A day before US Vice President Kamala Harris was expected to visit South Korea, North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile into the East Sea.
Following this, North Korea has been carrying out ballistic missile training in the East Sea region.

However, following South Korea’s announcement that ten North Korean military aircraft were spotted near South Korea’s airspace on Thursday, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said that North Korea had launched an unknown ballistic missile in the East Sea.
A ballistic missile launched by North Korea is believed to have fallen outside Japan’s EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zone), news media NHK reported.
Also, during today’s missile attack, the Japanese Defense Ministry said that the AV may have fired multiple missiles.

And earlier this week, North Korea reportedly conducted tactical nuclear weapons drills amid rising tensions on the peninsula.
