North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has pledged to strengthen the country’s nuclear capability to deter any threats from enemies.
During a speech he gave at a meeting with senior party and government officials on the seventy-sixth anniversary of the establishment of the state regime, Kim emphasized that the country is steadily implementing a policy to increase the number of nuclear weapons significantly..
Kim added, “The US-led move to expand a military bloc in the region is a serious security threat against North Korea, and has raised the need to strengthen the country’s nuclear arsenal.”.
He continued, “The clear conclusion is that North Korea’s nuclear power, and its appropriate use to guarantee the state’s right to security at any time, should be developed more comprehensively.”“.
Kim indicated that North Korea’s military power will develop rapidly and continuously.
