Specifically, the field yield from integrated production this year was in line with the average for the previous five-year period, while the organic field yield was 47.41 tons per hectare, significantly lower than the average yield for the previous five-year period, which was 62. 87 tons per hectare.

The tomato sent for processing this year, is of very high quality, recording a Brix degree of 4.87, one of the highest values ​​in the last decade.

Given the excellent quality of the delivered produce, the tomatoes were paid with tall payout index, among the highest in the last decade.

Tomatoes started at a base reference price of 100, equal to €150 per tonne, the highest ever announced by the grower industry, to recognize the increase in agricultural production costs over the past year, to which the late payment premium has been added and various company premiums paid by companies to farmers.
