Not afraid of criticism – Mahindananda Aluthgamage is obvious

by time news

Considering the narrow political objectives, some people refer to the Ministry of Agriculture as a failure without knowing the progress of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Agriculture Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage says he will never be intimidated by such criticism.

Colombo – He was speaking to the media after attending an event at the Waters Edge Hotel. He further commented,

“Many people have mentioned that there will be food shortages in the country in the near future. Paddy cultivation is not practiced in Dubai and Singapore. However the people of that country are not starving.

When there is a shortage of food in the world, it is a common practice to procure food items from countries where there is food.

Bose Phosphate Fertilizer Company was brought under the Ministry of Agriculture six months ago. At the time, the company was facing massive losses. However, the company has now progressed to a profitable level.

Although the phosphate company distributes 50 kg of fertilizer for 550 rupees, in other markets phosphate fertilizer sells for between 1,000 rupees and 1,100 rupees.

Appropriate plans will be implemented in the coming days to rectify this situation. The government has launched appropriate programs to improve national production.

We responsibly state that there will be no food shortage in the country for any reason. The Ministry of Agriculture is now more advanced than in the past. ”
