jpnn.comSOLO – Jeffri Massie, President Director of Massindo Group, a Spring Air manufacturer in Indonesia, expressed his condolences over the fall of a teenager with the initials ASH (17 years old), who fell from the 3rd floor of Solo Paragon Mall on August 9, 2024.
The teenager was known to have bipolar disorder and had not taken his medication for several days, leading to the incident.
Luckily, ASH fell and landed on one of the Spring Air mattresses that were being exhibited on the ground floor, thus saving his life.
“We were shocked and concerned about the news of ASH’s fall from the 3rd floor of Solo Paragon Mall on August 9, 2024. Coincidentally, this child fell on a Spring Air mattress that was being displayed on the ground floor of Solo Paragon Mall. Thankfully we heard that although there were some bruises, there were no serious injuries. We are very grateful that his life was saved,” said Jeffri.
“We pray and hope that this child will receive the best health care and then recover completely and quickly. We also hope that the family, who are certainly in a state of shock due to this very unexpected event, will receive peace and moral support from all family and friends,” he added.
General Manager of Spring Air Indonesia for the West Indonesia region, David Stanley Halim, had the opportunity to visit ASH at the PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Surakarta.
Based on the results of the X-Ray and CT Scan examinations, there were no broken bones, internal bleeding, or serious injuries, and ASH was able to communicate well.
ASH was discharged from the hospital on August 13, 2024. All costs of treatment while in the hospital were fully covered by Spring Air Indonesia.
