Naomi Aharoni Galshe is Hurry hurry, a member of the duo of music producers TOX1C and surprised us with “Sivafla”, a new and refreshing single, which she wrote and composed. In a conversation with Iris Cole on 103FM, she talked about the last year, the feeling of pressure that surrounded her, the high investment in visibility in the face of the desire to feel comfortable, and also: is there a relationship in her life? The answer, of course, is yes.

At the beginning of the interview, Kol wanted to ask whether, in light of the great success, Nono felt a certain concern, or a sense of pressure every time she released a new single. Nono explained that she experienced this pressure from the very beginning. “I can tell you that from the moment ‘Boys’ came out, and I felt that it was successful, I started to have all this pressure,” the creator admitted, adding that indeed every time she releases a song, a little “pain in the side”.
Later she told about the unfolding of events that led to the creation of the new single “Sivapala”. The pair of producers created the track that formed the basis of the new single, she listened, loved, and created the song around it. “It started last winter, we went to Kiryat to work with the producers,” she said. Will this song belong on some album that is brewing? The answer is no. According to her, this is an independent song.
Cole couldn’t ignore Nonno’s words, and asked if she talks the way she writes during everyday life. “Sivapela is a kind of wordplay that unfolded in conversation. Sometimes things come during wordplay, but many times it just comes out while writing,” admitted the creator.
Nono is much more than a creative musician, she is a stage artist who invests a lot in her visibility. “The character we see is very meticulous. How do you determine how Nuno will look in the music videos?” asked Kol. “The music videos are me and Adam Gabai Directing together. I build the whole beauty issue together with my stylist Omar Yahav, and the beauty team. The reference to the music video is a South African band – we actually sat on it, arranged to meet with the makeup and hair. It’s really a whole lot of work to create it,” she admitted. And how does she dress on a daily basis, you ask? “It’s far from what you see in the music video. I like that I’m mostly comfortable.”
“Are you in a relationship? Has there been any kind of relationship in the last decade?” asked Cole. “I’ve had a relationship, I’m in a relationship right now. We’re calmly, slowly, counting how much fun we have. We haven’t been together for a long time,” said the singer. If you asked yourself if he belongs to the profession, then Nono admitted: “He is a musician.”
When asked about performances, she said that she has another performance at Barbie. “We are starting to leave the Tel Aviv area and reach Jerusalem, Be’er Sheva, Haifa.” Does she come to events and social events? Definitely yes. “Whoever invites me, I really enjoy coming and performing,” she said. Nono said that her phenomenal success certainly surprised her, “in the end it’s what I dreamed would happen”.
Finally, if you wanted to know how Nono reacted to the imitation she received in a wonderful country, know that she loved him very much. “It was genius. It’s a crazy part to see someone imitating you, and how she caught the little things you do.”
