YOGYAKARTA – A number of figures visited humanist Emha Ainun Najib who is currently being treated at Dr Sardjito General Hospital on Saturday (15/7/2023). After President Joko Widodo visited Cak Nun, now it was the turn of other figures to visit Dr Sardjito General Hospital.

Names such as Former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and Former TNI Commander Gatot Nurmantyo visited Emha Ainun Nadjib or Cak Nun.

A few days earlier, apart from Defense Minister Prabowo Subiyanto, it was also reported that PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar was also present. Then Then the humanist and writer, Sujiwo Tejo and the artist Nasirun before Prabowo came.

Last Saturday, Anies visited Cak Nun after attending an event on Jalan Palagan student army. There was no fanfare during this visit because Anies was only accompanied by a friend.

“This is the bar (it was just finished) for the event at Palagan. Go straight to Sardjito,” Anies said to Ahmad Syakurun Muzakki, Cak Nun’s younger brother.

Anies was met by Cak Nun’s wife, Novia Kolopaking. After chatting for a while, they then held a joint prayer for Cak Nun’s recovery. After Anies returned, it was Gatot Nurmantyo’s turn to visit Cak Nun.

Currently Cak Nun is still undergoing treatment at RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta passed unconscious shortly after waking up on Thursday 6 July 2023. On Sunday 9 July 2023, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited and prayed for the recovery of this cultural figure.
