The international conference “New Approaches in Brain Tumors“, which saw the IRCCS Institute of Neurological Sciences of Bologna (ISNB) as a major protagonist. The event brought together national and international experts to discuss the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumorswith a particular focus on new therapeutic strategies and the multidisciplinary approach to treatment.

Among the topics covered during the congress, i new horizons in the molecular diagnostics phase and the new therapeutic perspectives with new generation drugs with targeted action. Furthermore, ample space was dedicated to non-pharmacological approaches such as focused ultrasoundthe new radiotherapy techniques and the cell therapieswhich represent future therapeutic strategies for brain tumor patients.
