Naseer Sankranti is the favorite actor of Malayalees. Naseer was mostly noticed through the program Tattim Muttim which was aired on Mazhavil Manorama. Although he played many roles in many channels and platforms, the turning point in his life was the series Tattim Muttim. Kamala Sanan, who appeared in the series, was much appreciated. The character won Naseer several awards including the State Award for Best Comedian on Television.
Naseer Sankranti says that even though funny characters are portrayed on the screen, he has not gone through such good experiences. In his latest interview with Milestone Makers, Nazir talks about his life. The actor also talks about having to beg. ‘It is called going to kappa, not alms. It is the time for dry kappa, he used to take a basket and go to the houses to ask for kappa. In a sense it is alms. I have gone to houses calling Ammachi. I have got food and clothes.’ Nazir Sankranti says that he thinks that everything he does except stealing and snatching is work.
Naseer adds that Makkal is not interested in acting. The actor says that if he lands in this field, he has to escape, and somehow he escaped. Nazir, who maintains a good relationship with actor Mammootty, will show his face in the first film on his instructions. Naseer also said that there are films to be released with good roles.
Naseer entered the field of art at the age of 15. At first, he asked for the opportunity to perform programs in temples in the country. Later joined the professional troops. After being active in troupes, he started getting opportunities in comedy programs on television channels.
