After weeks of rumours, speculation and leaks, it looks like Nothing is ready to announce its new mid-range device. The company has officially confirmed that it will hold an unveiling event on March 5 at 1:30 PM (Israel time) where it is expected to launch the Nothing Phone (2a).

The launch event known as “Fresh Eyes” (Fresh Eyes), Shows silhouettes of eyes in the invitation image. From the little that is known about the device, the shapes in the teaser image align with the arrangement of the rear camera on the phone (2a), with the main and secondary cameras aligned to the side and closer to the center of the back.

The new model will present a familiar combination combined with the general design that Nothing has given to its phones to date, but at the same time it is very different because the lighting of the Glyph interface will not accompany it – and this is perhaps the most significant way for the company to differentiate between the flagship phone and its discounted phone.

According to previous publications, the phone should arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor. And it will be offered in two memory configurations: 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB. The two cameras on the back will have 50-megapixel Samsung sensors. The screen will be 6.7 inches, with the AMOLED panel offering a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

But in the company, as usual, the ground is already being prepared with a video in which Karl Fay, the CEO of the company, talks about Phone 2a. In short, not much was revealed beyond what was said in the rumors but he does talk about the various design choices and the tests that were done in preparation for its launch.
