Objet : Constitution of the supplier database,

of entrepreneurs and service providers within the UGP-BAD

The Government of the Republic of Guinea has received funding from the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group to cover the costs of the following projects:

Development Project and asphalting in 2×1 lane of the Lola-N ‘zoo-Ivory Coast border road (39.75 km):1 – Development of roads and mitigation of negative environmental impacts2 – Related developments and measures in favor of women3 – Facilitation of transport4 – Institutional support and5 – Program management.Coyah Farmoreah Sierra Leone border road reconstruction project (75 km);1 – Reconstruction of roads2 – Developments and related measures3 – Facilitation of transport4 – Support for the transport sector andBOKE – QUEBO Road Construction Project Phase1/Lot2 (41 km);1 – Development of roads including bridges2 – Integrated developments3 – Facilitation of transport4 – Support for the transport sector andRoad development and transport facilitation program within the Mano River Union – Phase 3.1 – Studies on 197 kilometers of road, including 27 kilometers in Guinea,2 – Construction of a 276 meter bridge over the Makona River (Moa) between Guinea and Sierra Leone.3 – Develop socio-economic and market infrastructure, to support women’s and youth associations, in particular for the promotion of local products and4 – Provide support with a view to strengthening the capacities of certain government services in order to facilitate transport and trade.

The main objective of the projects is to help the Guinean Government to build modern and sustainable roads and crossing structures, helping to substantially improve the living conditions of the population.

As part of the award of consultation contracts and requests for quotation from suppliers, contractors and service providers, the Transport Project Management Unit (UGP-BAD), plans to set up a database of suppliers, of contractors and service providers for the execution of said contracts.

To this end, the UGP-BAD invites potential candidates to express their interest in appearing in this database by providing information indicating that they are qualified and experienced to execute markets and contracts falling within their area of ​​intervention including among others:the nature of activities of the candidate, the technical, human and financial resources, the number of years of general experience, the specific qualifications of the candidate in the field concerned as well as the general qualifications.

In addition to this information, candidates must not be concerned by any of the cases of ineligibility (fraud and corruption) provided for in the “procurement framework for operations financed by the Bank Group”, October 2015 edition, which is available on the Bank’s website at: as well as those of the Public Procurement Code of Guinea.

Candidates can also attach to the letter of expression of interest, all administrative documents (RCCM, tax and social security clearance, etc.).

Applicants are asked to provide this information in no more than approximately three (3) pages.

A list of candidates selected by type of contract (Works, Goods and Services), best presenting the skills required to perform the services will be established within the UGP-BAD.

The selected candidates will then be invited as the project procurement plan is executed, to present their pro-forma and final invoices on the basis of the invitation letter which will be sent to them for the completion of the projects. required services.
