The novelist and actress Ysabelle Lacamp, who played among others with Alain Delon, died at the age of 68 from cancer, her publisher announced on Tuesday.
Bruno Doucey editions hailed in a press release a “luminous woman” and “author of many successful novels”, including Le Baiser du dragon, the first in 1986, La Fille du ciel, in 1988, or L’Éléphant bleu in 1990 .
Maigret and Fabio Montale
With a French father and a Korean mother, Ysabelle Lacamp has played numerous roles in film and television, such as in Le Marginal (1983) with Jean-Paul Belmondo or in an episode of the Fabio Montale series, based on the work of Jean -Claude Izzo in 2002, with Alain Delon.
She also had a small role in I love you, by Claude Berri, in 1980, and in episodes of the detective series The Investigations of Commissioner Maigret and The Last Five Minutes.
His latest novel, Shadow among the shadows, devoted to the death of the poet Robert Desnos in the Nazi camp of Theresienstadt, was published in 2018.
