Here is a feminist with temper! At 21, the Briton Theresa Garnett, who campaigns for women’s right to vote, multiplies the attacks against British machos. She is not shy. On Saturday, November 13, 1909, Theresa squarely attacked Her Gracious Majesty’s pit bull, Winston Churchill. Admittedly, he is not yet the man who made Hitler bend, but, at 35, he is already Minister of Foreign Trade.
Armed with a whip, wearing a red cap, Theresa goes to Bristol station, where Churchill is expected. At 3 p.m., he got off the London train, accompanied by his wife Clémentine, who had given birth a few months earlier.
