On November 18, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports 65,371 new cases of Covid-19 infection, again significantly more than the previous day (52,826). There were 264 corona deaths per day. The nationwide 7-day incidence increased to 336.9 (319.5). About 68 percent of the German population has been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 5,195,321 cases of the virus have been identified in Germany. This means that the number of cases compared with the previous day increased by 65.371 cases. In total, 98,538 people have died as a result of the Covid-19 disease since the start of the pandemic.
The data is based on a statement by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), which receives information from the German regional health authorities. They provide updated information several times a day. Since reporting speed varies by region, there may be deviations and fixes as a result of late reporting. In addition, there are frequent delays in the display of data for individual federal states, especially after weekends and holidays.
