On November 8, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports 15.513 new cases of Covid-19 infection, which is less than the previous day (23.543). Another 33 deaths from the corona were recorded per day. The nationwide 7-day incidence increased to 201.1 (191.5). More than 67 percent of the German population has been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 4,782,546 cases of the virus have been identified in Germany. This means that the number of cases in comparison with the previous day increased by 15.513 cases. In total, 96,558 people have died as a result of the Covid-19 disease since the start of the pandemic.
The data is based on a statement by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), which receives information from the German regional health authorities. They provide updated information several times a day. As the reporting speed varies by region, there may be deviations and fixes as a result of late reporting.
