On September 11, 1952, three centuries after the apparition, Our Lady of Coromoto received the canonical coronation. A few years earlier, on October 7, 1944, Pope Pius XII declared her “Patroness of the Republic of Venezuela.”

Venezuelans celebrate Our Lady of Coromoto at three times a year: February 2 on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, September 8 on the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, and three days later, on September 11, which is the proper day of his party.

Here is a novena in his honor to ask for his help and intercession in the face of suffering and adversity.
