LONDON: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he will end restrictions on Kovid positives, including self-isolation, this month as part of an effort to live with Kovid.

66,183 new cases and 314 deaths were reported in the UK yesterday. Kovid lifted restrictions in the UK late last month and returned to Plan A. At the same time, a few guidelines were followed, including self-isolation of Kovid victims. The isolation period was reduced from seven to five.

The law expires on March 24. But Boris hints that it will not last until March. Boris says all remaining restrictions will be lifted in England within two weeks. Britain will also stop testing vaccinated people in the country.
