jpnn.com – The General Chairperson (Ketum) of NPC Indonesia Senny Marbun expressed his appreciation to the Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo who has given his full support to the Paralympic athletes in Paris 2024.
“The support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports has been extraordinary. We must admit that the Minister has succeeded in building Indonesian sports as expected,” said Senny.
The government’s full support in this case, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, can be seen from several sports such as boccia being able to win two silvers and two bronzes.
“We thank the Minister of Youth and Sports (Dito Ariotedjo, ed.) for always allowing boccia to participate in single events to gain points to enter the Paralympics, so that now it is able to win a silver medal,” said Senny.
Not only when appearing at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, Minister of Youth and Sports Dito also created long-term coaching for disabled athletes.
The plan is that in the near future, the Ministry of Youth and Sports will build a special training center for Paralympic athletes located in Karanganyar, Central Java.
“We will use the training camp to hone the athletes’ abilities, so that they can later replace their older siblings who are getting older,” said Senny.
Minister of Youth and Sports Dito himself plans to make a training center in Karanganyar to prepare Indonesian athletes to compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics.
