The Board of Directors of NRB Bank PLC, a listed company in the banking sector of the capital market, has released the unaudited financial report for the second quarter (April-June, 2024) and half-yearly (January-June, 2024) of the current financial year.

According to published reports, the company has returned to profit from loss per share in the half year under review. On Wednesday (July 24), Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE) informed this information.

According to the data, the company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the second quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 0.13. The company had a loss per share of Rs (0.04) in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. As such, the company returned to profit from loss per share in the quarter under review.

Meanwhile, the company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the six months or half-yearly quarter of the current financial year has been Tk 0.15. The company had a loss per share of Rs (0.63) in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. As such, the company returned to profit from loss per share in the quarter under review.

As on June 30, 2024, the company’s consolidated net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 12.70.
