Planning to go to Oman? Then there is good news for you. Oman allows tourists from over 100 countries to enter Oman without a visa (visa-free) for a period of 14 days. This step has been taken to promote tourism in the country and encourage travelers to visit Oman.

In October last year, the country announced visa-free entry for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Visas for residents of GCC countries are valid for a period of not less than three months. The circular issued by Oman Airports also stated that issuance of visas to certain nationalities will be exercised only after following the necessary policies.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has released a list of nationals eligible for this new policy.
