*NSYNC Reunites for “Trolls Band Together” Soundtrack

After years of anticipation, the iconic boy band *NSYNC has announced their long-awaited reunion. The group’s new song, “Better Place,” will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming animated film “Trolls Band Together.” The announcement came alongside the release of a new trailer for the movie.

Fans of *NSYNC will be happy to hear that “Better Place” is reminiscent of the band’s upbeat hits like “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and “The Other Side” from previous “Trolls” films. While the song can be pre-saved now, it won’t be officially released until September 29.

This marks *NSYNC’s first musical release since 2002 when the Neptunes remix of “Girlfriend,” featuring Nelly, hit the charts. The group’s reunion comes just days after their appearance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, where they presented Taylor Swift with the award for Best Pop. Their last VMA performance was in 2013 during Justin Timberlake’s Video Vanguard Award medley.

Rumors of *NSYNC’s reunion began swirling after posters for “Trolls Band Together” appeared in New York featuring a QR code and the first letter of the *NSYNC logo. The QR code leads to TakeYouToABetterPlace.com, a website teasing the new song. In the movie, Timberlake’s character, Branch, reunites with his brothers to revive their childhood boy band, BroZone. However, in the film, the voices of Branch’s bandmates are provided by Troye Sivan, Eric André, Daveed Diggs, and Kid Cudi.

During their prime in the late ’90s and early 2000s, *NSYNC released four studio albums: “‘N Sync” (1997), “Home for Christmas” (1998), “No Strings Attached” (2000), and “Celebrity” (2001). Their catchy pop tunes and synchronized dance moves made them one of the most successful boy bands of all time.

Fans can expect to see “Trolls Band Together” in theaters on November 17. The new trailer featuring “Better Place” by *NSYNC has already generated excitement among both longtime fans and new listeners.
