Pushpa is a movie directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun. The film starred Rashmika Mandana opposite Allu Arjun. Bhagat Bachil played the villain in the film as a police officer.
The film focuses on the smuggling of sheep in the Andhra Pradesh. In the film, Allu played the role of Arjun Pushparaj, a lorry driver and a sheep smuggler.
Pushpa was made into two parts and the first part of the film, Pushpa The Rice, was released in five languages in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on December 17. The song ‘O Solriya Mama’ in which Samantha danced in the film was controversial.

In the climax of Pushpa movie, Allu Arjun and Bhagat Bachil are seen fighting. The two of them may have planned to fight naked. Sukumar, however, said that the scene was changed as the two were fighting as Dowser was wearing it as the fans did not like it.
The song “O Solriya Mama” featured in the film was criticized as being written in a very derogatory manner, portraying men only as lustful. If nude scenes had taken place in this situation, Pushpa would have faced a lot of controversy and the film would have failed.
