Nurses now record their workload themselves

by time news

Berlin – If Anja Voigt has learned one thing over the past year, it’s this: “Politics only move when you put massive pressure on”. Voigt is an intensive care nurse at the Neukölln Clinic, she is involved in the Berlin hospital movement with other employees of the municipal hospital groups Vivantes and Charité. They want to build up the pressure with a health atlas. “There is now a tool for this on the hospital movement’s website,” explains Voigt. “All wards should enter in this mask how many staff there are in one shift and how many patients.” The data will be collected by May 31, summarized in the same health atlas and handed over to Berlin’s politicians.
