O. Panneerselvam who went to Gujarat; Plan to meet the Prime Minister?

OPS has gone to Gujarat to participate in the swearing-in ceremony as the BJP is re-establishing a government in Gujarat.

The BJP won a record victory in 156 seats in the recently concluded elections in Gujarat. Similarly, Congress has won only 17 constituencies and suffered a heavy defeat. Aam Aadmi Party came third with 12% votes, winning 5 seats.

In this case, information has come out that 20 ministers are going to be sworn in along with Bhupendra Singh Patel, who is going to be sworn in as the Chief Minister again in the swearing-in ceremony to be held in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the event. Along with them, chief ministers from BJP-ruled states are also expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Former Minister O. Panneerselvam flew from Chennai to Ahmedabad to participate in the event. When he went to Ahmedabad his followers sent him away. It is expected that OPS will meet the Prime Minister and Amit Shah in Ahmedabad.

It is also noteworthy that the Leader of the Opposition Edappadi Palaniswami was invited to the All-Party Consultative Meeting for the G20 Conference recently.
