LONDRA. Now it’s official: glOasis to reunite for series of shows 15 years after splitting. In a long-awaited 8am message picked up by the Christian media, the band announced a run of 14 shows in the UK and Ireland next summer. “The guns have been silenced. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come and see. It won’t be on TV,” the band said. The Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin dates were confirmed to be Oasis’ “only European shows next year”.
The 14-date tour will kick off on July 4, 2025 in Cardiff, Wales, with four shows in the Gallaghers’ hometown of Manchester and four shows at Wembley Stadium in London. After the UK, Oasis will next play Dublin, Ireland in August 2025. The next big thing for the band’s many fans to look forward to is next Saturday, August 31, when tickets for the concerts go on sale. Although only the UK and Ireland dates have been announced so far, there are plans afoot for Oasis to tour continents outside of Europe by the end of next year.
According to the BBC, it is not just a reunion of the group but a real reconciliation of the Gallagher brothers after the arguments and clashes of the past: the photo published on the social profiles of the two artists finally together, with their expressions as always sulky, would be proof of this.
In Great Britain there is already talk of a new Oasis-mania after the one in the Nineties: in fact, there are those who are booking hotels in the place and on the day in which the Gallagher brothers will perform together and then buying the tickets when they go on sale from next Saturday.
