OB Beer holds ‘sustainability workshop’ with partners… Carbon reduction win-win cooperation

OB ⁣Beer officials and 21 partner companies spent time exchanging⁤ carbon reduction roadmap, sustainable technology, and‌ information at the ‘2024 Partner Sustainability Workshop’.

OB Beer announced ​on the 20th that it‌ held the ‘2024⁢ Partner Sustainability Workshop’ to‍ help partners improve their environmental sustainability and achieve mutual growth.

Held​ at COEX in‌ Samseong-dong, Seoul on the 19th, 21 companies collaborating with OB Beer in various fields including packaging materials,‍ raw materials, logistics,⁤ and overhead facilities participated. At OB Beer,⁣ executives⁢ and employees from various departments including‍ the⁢ purchasing team, Korea ⁤production ‌operation & facility investment team, brewing & ⁤quality assurance⁢ team, and production plants ⁤in Icheon, Cheongju, ⁢and Gwangju were‌ present.

OB Beer held the ‘Shared ‍Growth Pledge’ ‌in 2010 ‍to seek win-win cooperation between manufacturers and small⁣ and ⁢medium-sized partners and holds it every year. This⁢ year, the name ‍was ⁢changed to ‘Partner Sustainability Workshop’ ​to focus⁣ on improving the sustainability of suppliers in​ terms of eco-friendliness and to expand the scope ⁤of invitations.

At this year’s workshop, each partner company presented an‍ excellent carbon⁣ reduction roadmap and related policy and ‍technology training was conducted.‌ Partner ⁤companies Dongwon​ Systems,⁤ Sajo CPK, and Hanil ‍Manufacturing shared a carbon reduction roadmap, including carbon neutrality​ status and goals, and ‍carbon reduction measures​ and plans.

An awards ‍ceremony for excellent partners ​was also‍ held. OB Beer​ selected 10 companies that led technological innovation ‍and ‍quality⁤ improvement among the ⁤partners ‌that attended the workshop.
