Ocarina of Time is now available for Mac and Wii U

Just like with Super Mario 64, the talented developers created the classic “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.” Availability of the game source allows developers to work on mods and also port the game to multiple platforms. The game hit PC thanks to fans, and now the producer has revealed that it will bring text-to-speech, 60fps, HD textures, Mac and Linux support, and more.

The unofficial port has released a new version “Rachael Alfa” that supports Mac and Wii U computers. Additionally, this version includes a free camera mode of up to 250fps. There is also a random selection of items, new cheats, and link drop damage adjustments. The new port is fan-made and has nothing to do with Nintendo. Players will enjoy the game through a program called “The Harkinian Ship”. To avoid legal issues, the software requires players to insert their Nintendo 64 ROM from legal sources for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. After that, the program will extract the game and create an original version for PC.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time gets a new life through a high-quality port

The latest port of the legendary game is available for download through this discord channel.

Earlier this year, the Harkinian ship project brought The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to PC. The first achievements include HD graphics, Ultra HD screen resolution, keyboard support, mod support, force feedback, and gyroscope target.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was one of the greatest games in the Nintendo story, and certainly the one that gave breath to the Nintendo 64. The company’s first 64-bit console had a hard time competing with the PlayStation One. However, with the release of Legend of Zelda, Nintendo was able to conquer fans and more customers. The game was important to the entire industry as it brought the gameplay elements that are still present in modern games.

While the mod community thrives, Nintendo is preoccupied with rumors of the Nintendo Switch Pro and upcoming mobile games.
